How do I create an event?+
Open AfterGlow, tap the + button on the events tab, name your event, set the start and end times, choose the number of guests, and confirm. Free tier covers up to 5 guests. Paid tiers go up to 200 — you pay once per event.
How do I invite guests?+
Open your event and tap Invite. Share the QR code or the 6-letter code with the people you want to include. Guests scan the QR or type the code in their app — no public link, no email lookup.
What does “Lock the film” do?+
When your event ends, the host taps Lock the film. The album becomes the final cut — no more uploads, no more edits, no more deletes. The photos stay visible to every member of that event, just frozen.
Can I see other guests' photos before the event ends?+
Yes. Every member sees every photo as it's uploaded. AfterGlow is a live shared album, not a surprise reveal. Swipe left on an event to see the live roll.
I paid for an event but it's still showing 'pending payment'.+
Stripe usually confirms within a few seconds. Pull to refresh on the event page. If it stays stuck for more than a minute, email us with your event name and we'll check the webhook delivery.
How do I delete an event?+
Open the event, tap the slider (host only), scroll to the bottom, tap Delete this event. Permanent and irreversible — all photos in that event are removed from our servers.
How do I delete my account?+
Profile → Delete account. Every event you host is permanently removed. Events you joined as a guest stay with the host; photos you uploaded keep the photo but lose your name.
How do I export my data?+
Profile → Export my data. You get a JSON file with your profile, every event you're a member of, and 7-day signed URLs to download every photo we have for you.
Why didn't my push notification arrive?+
Make sure notifications are allowed in iOS Settings → AfterGlow → Notifications. If they are and you still didn't get one, the push send loop on our backend is being rolled out gradually — email us your event name and we'll investigate.
Is AfterGlow on Android?+
Not yet. Android is on the roadmap but iOS is the primary build right now.

Report a bug or suggest a feature
The fastest path is the in-app form: Profile → Send feedback. Pick “Bug report” or “Feature request,” describe what happened, and submit. Your user ID and app version go along automatically so we can debug.
If you can't open the app, email balaji.nagisetty@gmail.com with as much detail as you can — what you tapped, what you expected, what happened instead, your device model and iOS version.
